The Corporate Workplace: Redefined

Arnold & Associates Interiors Inc.

After 14 years in our current space, we renovated our showroom/office to reflect a more collaborative environment. We exchanged the 64" H panel heights for lower benching systems to allow the designers to collaborate unobstructed. Traditional desk supports were replaced with electronic sit stand legs to allow for working at any height. We opted to close in the conference room using an architectural glass wall system, KI Lightline, to give more privacy to meetings needing it without obstructing the open feel we wanted. Fresh new paint and carpeting completed the transformation to bring our office up to speed with the latest in work trends.

PreSonus

Presonus, a Baton Rouge based Audio company serving the music industry worldwide broke ground on their new office at the beginning of 2013. AAI began working with Ritter Maher Architects and the company’s development team to create a concept for the furniture of the company’s new headquarters. The concept for the furniture would be described as a modern man's suit, tailored and professional, without the stuffiness. The private offices were furnished with Knoll's modular wood desks and Knoll panel systems were chosen for the open office plan. The color scheme was conservative in grey tones for the offices and workstations with the lounge areas offering a more laid back feeling by adding a pop of the company’s logo’ d blue. The project was completed in January of 2015.

Beau Box Real Estate

Beau Box Commercial Real Estate decided in 2015 they needed to build a space that better suited there rapidly growing firm. A partnership was formed with Architect, Trula Remson and Arnold & Associates to complete the design build of the project. AAI developed a concept for the overall building to be tailored to the organic nature of the business. Clean lines were chosen to upgrade from the traditional corporate aesthetic and pops of the companies signature red were strategically placed on furniture pieces to emphasize the Beau Box brand.

Kean Miller

In 2002 Kean Miller Law Firm decided to renovate four floors of their existing space at One American Place.  Arnold & Associates teamed up with Steinmetz and Associates to update the client's space. AAI worked with Debbie Steinmetz and the end user to refresh the look and feel of the firm.  Eight years later in 2010 the firm had outgrown their home at One American Place and opted to move to a new space at II City Plaza. For this move and renovation Christie worked closely with Nelson Architecture firm in Chicago and the client to provide a fresh new look for the firm that focused on their brand and new aesthetic. We continue to maintain a close working relationship with the firm and help them manage their day to day needs.

Launch Media - Creative Bloc

Launch Media, a solutions based multimedia production company opened their headquarters in downtown Baton Rouge in 2014. Local Baton Rouge architecture firm Tipton Architects created a fun environment infused with bright colors and playful artwork to inspire the tenants of this mixed use building. Arnold & Associates Interiors was chosen to furnish the collaborative work stations and seating throughout the space. The concept for the work areas was to mimic the inspiring space the architects created.  They needed these areas to be fun, inviting, and foster ingenuity. Launch Media’s employees spend much of their time working on computers at their workstation, making the seating a key component to offering comfort and ergonomic support throughout their workday. Knoll Dividends was chosen for the work area, which was an ideal pairing for the open collaborative space plan.

Melancon|Rimes Attorneys at Law

Baton Rouge based Law Firm Melancon Rimes began plans on their new centrally located office just down the street from Towne Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Robert Rimes and Jason Melancon contacted Arnold & Associates to begin the design concept and furniture specification for their new space. Arnold & Associates designers worked with Remson|Haley|Herpin Architects and Joffrion Construction to fulfill the overall design vision the clients had for their new headquarters. With the exterior of the building being a painted white brick the designers chose to mimic the lighter concept throughout the office with a deep contrast of darker, richer tones in the architectural accents and furniture. The modern yet luxurious space was completed in October 2016.
